proudly posing on the Napa River in California with his 47 inch,
35lb Striped Bass. This Striper was caught on an incoming tide
using10lb spinning gear (a Shakespeare Ugly Stik rod and an ABU
Reel) with a Rat-L-Trap lure. We were anchored in only 4.9 feet
of water and were casting to the shore where we could see schools
of baitfish being harrassed by Stripers. We had to pull the anchor and chase this fish to avoid being spooled. This 35lb Napa River Striper was netted and photographed by Bob Fisher.
