Ross Compe said: 'Your the Skipper your responsible' is the word from the Department of Transport at the Skipper Safety Campaign.
Boating incidents in the recreational sector grew by 37 per cent.
2010/2012 recorded a 25 per cent increase over 2008/2009 with 120 incidents reported within the recreational sector.
101 incidents occured within the non recreational sector.
In total of the 221 marine incidents there were 90 that were collisions including propeller strikes.

Ross Compe said: Steve Greivulus has landed some fantastic King George Whiting and some very big Squid from near Garden Island.
Steve has appeared in a earlier post at 'Perth Offshore Fishing Reports' with a terrific Pink Snapper and we are looking forward to more stories and pics from him soon.

View Topic Quobba Station the Winter Months
Ross Compe said: More terrific photographs from Mr Ron Thomas at Quobba Station. Big Cobia around the 16 kilo mark taken around Boundary Fence.
One of two taken in an hour and a superb Tailor of 8 kilos from the same area.
Ron Thomas also managed a huge Whaler Shark from the beach that put on a big show before being subdued after another hour long tussle.
One of five big sharks seen cruising the area, Ron managed to get the beastie back in the water.
Well done Dee and Ron.
